Have you ever wondered what different roses symbolize. Roses have a long history behind the colors and what they represent when you give them or receive them. I have put together a list of roses and their meanings. I hope you can use this next time you buy a rose for someone.

The Red Rose says "I LOVE YOU"

It represents Love, passion and respect

THE PINK ROSE

The pink rose represent happiness, it shows appreciation, admiration, friendship and sympathy. Dark Pink roses signify thankfulness

THE LIGHT PINK ROSE

The light Pink Rose represents grace, joy, gentility and admiration.

THE CORAL COLOR ROSE

The coral rose represents your desire and longing.

THE YELLOW ROSE

The yellow rose shows your joy and friendship.

THE PALE PEACH ROSE

The pale peach rose - represents modesty

The Lavender Rose

The lavender rose represents love at first sight and enchantment.

THE WHITE ROSE

The white rose represents spiritual love and purity. It also signifies secrecy, reverence, humility, innocent and charm.

White roses used at funeral are showing your honor and reverence for the person that has passed away.

White roses at weddings indicate purity and virginity. Note: White rose buds have a different meaning than white roses- they represent the innocence of young girls.

A single rose denote " I still Love you"

Two roses of any color that are attached together signify a commitment or forthcomming marriage.

12- roses- gratitude

25- roses- congradulations

50- roses- uncoditional love
